Field mapping for trail signs, PDFs, and local maps

Snappin

Turn Any Map Into a Live Map

Snappin lets you import a trail sign, park board, PDF, or map photo,
align it to the real world, and use it as a live map on your phone.

Works well for hiking, campgrounds, ski areas, parks, golf courses,
and custom venue maps.

Map photo + basemap

Import a posted map, line it up to landmarks, and pin it in place.

Built for offline field use

Waypoints, route lines, fences, alerts, and saved Snappacks stay organized in one map workflow.

A posted map becomes a usable live layer instead of a static reference image.Waypoint labels, fence alerts, and local detail stay visible on top of the basemap.

App Overview

Built for places where the posted map knows more than the online one.

Snappin is a field mapping app built for situations where a posted or printed map contains more detail than the online map.
Import an image or PDF, pin it to the basemap, and use it in the field with waypoints, route lines, fences, alerts, and offline maps.

Snappin was designed for hiking and outdoor navigation, but it also works well for campgrounds, ski areas,
outdoor shopping centres, fairgrounds, golf courses, parks, and other places with custom local maps.
